What PPECC Starter is
PPECC Starter is a free public reference tool that provides regulatory guidance, readiness checklists, and requirements information for founders exploring the Texas Pediatric Preventive and Episodic Care (PPECC) program. It does not collect protected health information (PHI), accept patient data, or submit information to any state or federal agency.
Information we collect
PPECC Starter does not ask you to create an account. It does not collect your name, email, or contact information. The Readiness Map tool runs entirely in your browser — your answers are never transmitted to our servers and are not stored. If you voluntarily contact us by email, we may retain that correspondence.
Automatic technical data
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure logs standard request metadata (IP address, browser type, referring URL, page visited, timestamp). This information is used solely for security monitoring and diagnosing technical problems. It is not sold, shared with advertisers, or combined with personal identifiers.
No PHI
PPECC Starter is a regulatory reference tool, not a clinical application. No protected health information (PHI) is solicited or accepted at any point. The Readiness Map asks about your organization's operating posture — not about patients or beneficiaries. Do not enter patient information into this tool.
Optional Harbor handoff
PPECC Starter includes an optional link to begin a free trial with Harbor, a separate PPECC operating-record platform by Aegis Harbor, Inc. Following that link takes you to www.aegis-harbor.com, which has its own privacy policy. Harbor is entirely optional; using PPECC Starter does not require a Harbor subscription or account.
Cookies
PPECC Starter does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site may set a language-preference cookie (Harbor.PpecLanguage) if you select a display language; this is a functional preference cookie with no advertising purpose and expires after 365 days.
Third parties
We do not sell personal information. We do not use third-party advertising networks on this site. We may engage hosting or infrastructure providers that process technical log data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.
Children
PPECC Starter is intended for healthcare operators and business founders, not children. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 13.
